Join Nexans at the Science Festival 2022!

On October 9, 2022, Nexans will host two fun workshops for children and their parents at the Museum of Modern Art in Paris, to celebrate the Science Festival and echo Raoul Dufy's work The Electricity Fairy.

Superconductors are capable of carrying unprecedented amounts of energy at lightning speed. During this workshop, Frédéric Lesur, Senior Engineer, High Voltage Cable Systems & Power Grids at Nexans, will introduce you to their incredible power and you will be at work designing a model of a superconducting cable and linking it to the heart of the Montparnasse train station.
Wind is one of the key renewable energies for the preservation of the planet's resources. In this workshop, Laurent Keromnes, Grid Cables Systems Design lab manager at Nexans, will show you how wind creates energy, how wind turbines work at sea, and how this energy is transported for use in our daily lives. It's up to you to build a wind turbine to create a model of an offshore wind farm!
