Founded in 1919
La Verpillière plant, located in the Isère region of France, was founded in 1919 to manufacture rubber-insulated cables and textile braids. La Verpillière site is mainly dedicated to the DIY superstore market, for which it supplies products packaged in coils and reels for cables sold by the meter.

La Verpillière: a benchmark in sustainable home electrification
La Verpillière plant has acquired 4 Tecno-Mat corrugators in 6 years, a cobot and an automatic tray-laying machine.
The cobot is a collaborative robot to be commissioned in April 2023. This palletizing robot picks up crowns from the conveyor belt and places them on the pallet. Dedicated to carrying heavy coils (up to 15 kg), it saves time and increases productivity at the workstation.
Cables manufactured in La Verpillière
- H07V-U: rigid wire for fixed domestic installations. Used for lighting, sockets and heating circuits.
- H07V-K: flexible wire for wiring electrical panels and cabinets.
- H07V-R: rigid wire for fixed domestic installations. Used for panel wiring, hob circuits and grounding.
- H03VVH2-F: flat flexible cable used to power lamps and small electrical appliances.
- H05VV-F: flexible cable used to power household appliances and make extension cords.
- HIFI: flat flexible cable used to connect loudspeakers.
- Special cables mainly for crane wiring
- Tray maker: automatic box-making machine. The automation of box assembly has reduced the quantity of cardboard used per box by 25%, and reduces the risk of RSI for operators.
- Radio frequency: order picking assisted by a radio-frequency scanner. This increases the reliability of order picking, and reduces the administrative workload and paper consumption.
- Blaxtair system: on-board camera on Totem carts to manage trolley/pedestrian coactivity. As the risk of collision between trucks and pedestrians is reduced, safety is enhanced and working conditions improved.
