A world-first in France at Montparnasse train station: Nexans installs superconducting cables to strengthen and secure the power supply
Together with its partners, Nexans, a pure electrification player, won a project from Bpifrance under the “Investissements d’Avenir” (Investments for the Future) initiative coordinated by SNCF Réseau for the installation of two superconducting DC cables near Montparnasse station in Paris. This is the first time that cables of this type will be integrated into a rail network and is set to be the first permanent installation in France on any network.

Lyon Science is back for an 8th edition
The Lyon Science Festival will take place on Sunday, April 3 from 10:00 at the Mérieux amphitheatre of the ENS in Lyon. The entrance is free and open to all. Frédéric Lesur, host of What's Watt, will give a conference: "Gustave Trouvé, the Da Vinci of electricity".
