Application

Nexans ALSECURE® PLUS and  Nexans ALSECURE® PREMIUM cables are designed to be used in safety systems (emergency lights, warning systems, fire fighting equipments, etc ...) in all premises open to the public (concert hall, theaters, cinemas, department stores, hospitals, schools, etc ...), in high-rises buildings, in tunnels, in industries.

Nexans ALSECURE® PLUS and  Nexans ALSECURE® PREMIUM cables are fire resistant and fire retardant, low smoke and halogen free. In the event of fire, emitted gazes are non corrosive and have a very low toxicity.

Installation

Nexans ALSECURE® PLUS and  Nexans ALSECURE® PREMIUM cables will be installed in accordance with the current regulation.

Nexans ALSECURE® PLUS and Nexans ALSECURE® PREMIUM cables have to be protected against direct sun lighting when it used outside

In case of laying between 0°C and -10°C, warm up the cables in a heated room 48 hours minimum before installation.

Fire performance

  • Fire resistant according to NF C 32-070 Cat. CR1, resistance fire test EFECTIS SECURISE
  • Fire retardant according to IEC/EN 60332-3-24, IEC/EN 60332-1-2, NF C 32-070 Cat. C1 & C2
  • Low smoke : IEC/EN 61034, NF C 32-073
  • Halogen free : IEC/EN 60754-1, NF C 32-074
  • Low corrosivity : IEC/EN 60754-2, NF C 32-074
