Application

The NEXANS EV-NETWORK solution provides several advantages compared to the individual cabling of each charging station:

  • modularity and scalability of the installation,
  • space-saving in the switchboard, in cable trays, core drilling
  • cost-effective, with reduced cable length and easiest maintenance


Cables comply with the requirements of the Construction Products Regulation “CPR (EU) n° 305/2011” with an improved fire performance class: Cca - s1, d1, a1. They are fire retardant and low fire hazard cables, with low smoke and reduced emissions of toxic and corrosive gasses (LS0H).

 

Construction

The NEXANS EV-NETWORK solution is made of:

  • A main BUS cable (three-phase twisted + neutral) laid in a cable tray or fixed to the walls for distribution in streets or near the terminals
  • Branch cables (one/three-phase twisted + neutral) to connect, simultaneously or later, the charging stations to the BUS cable via dedicated connectors.
  • Compact stranded aluminium conductors - class 2 according to IEC 60228
  • Insulation: extruded XLPE compound - type X1 color: black
  • Outer sheath:  low fire hazard compound (LSZH)  - type G1 color: black

Les câbles Nexans (principal "Bus" et dérivé) ont été développés conjointement avec les connecteurs à perforation d'isolant de la société Michaud. 
Cette association est parfaitement adaptée en domaine C14-100 vis-à-vis du respect de la norme et de la durabilité de l’installation.

Warning

The range presented is likely to satisfy the majority of use cases in the areas covered by IRVE; it will be up to the user to select the products according to the specificities of said fields of application (NF C14-100 and NF C15-100)
