Applications

These power and control cables are used for electricity supply in low voltage installation system. They are well adapted to underground use in industrial applications where hydrocarbons may be present. These cables can be fixed on cable trays, within conduits or fixed to walls.

Conductor:
- Stranded (class 2), solid (class 1) annealed round plain copper or Stranded round aluminium (class 2) 
Insulation
- Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE)
Assembling:
- An inner sheath acting as a filler with practically zero thickness or assembling tape (optional)
Inner sheath:
- Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
Armour:
- Steel tapes (STA) or aluminium tapes
Outer sheath:
- Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)

Core indentification

1 core: black
2 to 5 cores: according to HD 308 S2
> 5 cores: printed numbers
> 5G cores: printed numbers + green/yellow core
