AFNOR NF M 87201 for fossil power plant

Description

Description

Standards

  • Product
    IEC 60584-3; NF C42-324; NF C42-324
  • Test
    IEC 60332-3-22 Cat.A

Applications

These compensation and extension cables are used with thermocouples for temperature measurements in fossil power plant . When they are armoured, they are well adapted to underground use in industrial applications where mechanical protections are needed. The individual screening of each pair limits the consequence of crosstalk.

Design

Conductor:

Metal in accordance with the thermocouple,

- solid cross-section 0.50 mm² (1 x 0.80 mm) or 1.34 mm² (1 x 1.3 mm)

- stranded 1 mm² (14 x0.3 mm)

Insulation:

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)

Screen:

Overall: polyester tape, tinned copper drain wire, aluminium/polyester tape

or

Individual and overall:  polyester tape, tinned copper drain wire, aluminium/polyester tape + individual sheath (polyvinyl chloride) + polyester tape, tinned copper drain wire, aluminium/polyester tape
